Moseley 7th Hole

This page is intended to answer those questions that help make a new member feel more integrated into Moseley Golf Club.

  1. What steps follow a successful membership interview?
    1. The new members details are published for 14 days on the General Manager’s noticeboard. This gives the existing members an opportunity to question an application, but the Membership Committee has the final decision.
    2. Invoice is raised for fees due.
    3. On receipt of payment, an MGC membership card is ordered and can be collected from a member of the office/bar staff.
This swipe card provides access to the golf clubs’ facilities as well as a 20% discount on drinks purchased at any one of the club’s bars.
    4. A Welcome Pack which includes a copy of the Club Diary and a dated MGC Bag tag is then available to the new member from the club office.
    5. The member will be notified by email of their details to access the club website.

If you encounter any issues with this process, then please email our General Manager or the Membership Committee

  2. Are there good times for new members to meet and play with other members?
Indeed so, there are 3 main regular playing events.
    1. The Sunday morning breakfast club, who meet up around 7:30am every Sunday morning for breakfast and a game of golf. The 4balls are drawn at random so you will get a great oppportunity to grow your playing partners at MGC.
    2. The Thursday Stableford competition which is held throughout the day.
    3. The B team which offers you an excellent way to not only meet other MGC members but also to play a wide variety of other golf courses in the Midlands area.
